The only constant thing in the universe is variation. It is prevalent in every society across the world, but it is most prevalent in societies that seek to satisfy the people or meet their demands. Society wants a change in order to convey old ways to new ones. Almost every aspect of human existence is affected, including the economy, way of life, education, culture, politics, conduct, attitude, and family structure, to name a few. The term "social change" refers to changes in social processes. It refers to any change or variation in a social form, process, or pattern. Social media is a word that refers to an educational and social platform made up of many websites, technology, and apps.
Globally, social media is playing a vital role in motivating the people in the face of any adverse incidence or government policy. It activates social movements and disseminates unfiltered information to the general public. During the last decade, social media has had a significant impact on transforming the landscape of several communities. The word "social transformation" encompasses a wide range of basic and civic results. These results are the consequence of greater awareness, expected changes, increased knowledge, involvement, and policy changes aimed at redressing injustice.

Because social networks rely on human connection, they become more powerful as they expand. Each person with a minority viewpoint may understand that he is not alone thanks to the internet. When these people connect through social media, they may do things like developing memes, newspapers, and entire online worlds that support their point of view, then burst into the mainstream. Social, ethical, environmental, and political concerns would have little visibility if not for social media. The balance of power has moved from the hands of a few to the majority as concerns have become more visible.
With the development of social media, it's becoming rarer to find a company that doesn't use one or more social media platforms to reach out to consumers and prospects. Businesses recognize the value of utilizing social media to engage with consumers and generate income. Businesses have understood that social media can be used to provide insights, boost demand, and develop targeted product offers. These responsibilities are critical in both conventional brick-and-mortar companies and, of course, e-commerce. According to research, incorporating social networks in the workplace can improve knowledge exchange.
In terms of changes, social media plays a critical role in changing people's lives. People browse, observe, understand, and forward/share issues that they are interested in. Indirectly or directly, social media contributes to societal reform.
